Social Workers and Social Service Workers Professional Development Fund.

If you are a registered social worker or social service worker attending this conference, you may be eligible for an up to $500 reimbursement for the conference registration fee.

Eligibility and Application Information:

Be a registered member, in good standing*, of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Applications must be submitted within 90 days of the completion date of the PD activity.
Proof of payment and successful completion of PD activity is required at the time of application.
Applicants are limited to one application for one PD activity to a maximum of $500 per funding year.

Introduction Course to Animal Assisted Interventions

Nourishing Hearts Wellness Care Farm is offering a full day information session that includes hands-on training with farm therapy animals. The introductory course is a prerequisites for the Professional Development Farm Stays that will be offered during the summer.

Cost: $200 (Option for payment installments) (Student rate $150)
