Nourishing Hearts

Nourishing Hearts mobile services facilitates Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI), with individuals living in residential facilities or are participants at institutional settings such as schools, treatment facilities and day programs. Nourishing Hearts engages diverse farm animal species as co-therapists, including goats, sheep, rabbits and chickens. This unique and innovative mobile service overcomes the transportation barriers that often make farm-based services inaccessible to many individuals. AAI stimulates oxytocin,  encourages physical activity, social interaction and contact, while offering unconditional love, reassurance and soothing comfort. AAI helps people to live their highest quality of life while living with a range of social, emotional, physical and mental health challenges. Services are tailored to client’s’ unique needs, along with their session goals and objectives.
